There are multiple cars to go along with that theme and one car has the the grate on the windshield and window net in line with cars designed for stunts/races to try and protect the driver from crashes. I suspect this because it is spelled differently than normal as the correct spelling would be daredevils as a single word not two suggesting the name signifies a different meaning than the traditional one. If you are planning to add a feature that large post launch do you advertise it before the game comes out to boost sales of the game at full price, or after launch when the price of the game has dropped.Įdit: As to a couple of your other points Dare Devils is likely the name of a group in the dlc which is why it's plural (my guess would be built around dangerous races/stunts). Think about this from a business perspective. Plus if they were really planning to add multiplayer they would be advertising it already. Multiplayer of any sort would be a massive amount of work that they wouldn't just sell for $10. So at $10 average each at most there is no way any of those will be adding multiplayer. Meaning that the cost of the season pass will likely fall in the $20-30 max range (and that's for three DLC packs).
The gold edition comes with the season pass at only $20 more than that deluxe edition. In addition we already can estimate the price per DLC considering the price of the gold edition. That all being said why release it in a DLC? Why cars (if it is DLC) as the main picture? Are they hiding the fact that this is the multiplayer DLC with extra vehicles? Second, the name of the DLC is Daredevils (plural) what does the plural incantation mean? That being said the second DLC is called Demons but that could just mean the NPCs (most likely some form of zombie) your facing against. Why would they do two vehicles? First, you can see Rico in the first car clearly but in the second car, the windshield is covered in some sort of grate. This only made me wonder what this meant. In the pictures for the three expansions were revealed in the expansion trailer I noticed that there were two cars in the Daredevils pack ( Pictures).
